ART EXHIBITS AT CAVALLO POINT
Imogen Cunningham
Cavallo Point is pleased to feature a special exhibit of over 50 vintage photographs by Imogen Cunningham at Murray Circle, our signature restaurant. This is the largest single exhibition of the late artist's work in over 30 years.
Gregory Colbert
Also on display in the upstairs foyer of Murray Circle are seven select photographic works from Gregory Colbert's acclaimed exhibition Ashes and Snow. Since its debut at the Venice Arsenale in 2002, the collection of large-scale sepia images capturing extraordinary interactions between man and animals has toured the world. The Nomadic Museum, the traveling home of Ashes and Snow, has visited New York, Santa Monica, Tokyo and Mexico City. In 2007, these seven of the collection's 60 images were shown at Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, one of Cavallo Point's sister hotels.

Headlands Center for the Arts
In the pre-function foyer and corridors of the Callippe meeting room, artwork is featured from the Headlands Center for the Arts, home to an Artist in Residence program. A special limited edition of prints by 16 former Artists in Residence is highlighted along with artwork in various media by current Artists in Residence. Located in the Marin Headlands 10 minutes Cavallo Point, Headlands Center for the Arts invites Lodge guests to visit artists' studios and attend public programs.

Art in Public Areas
In the public areas, the photography collection features significant work by Bay Area and internationally-recognized artists. These include Richard Barnes, Lukas Felzmann, David Liittschwager, David Maisel, Arno Minkkinen and JoAnn Verburg. Sculpture by Yoshitomo Saito and a tapestry by Squeak Carnwath are also in the collection.
