About the Program
Animation and cartooning have long been repositories of social commentary and political satire. During this five-day experience, acclaimed artist Packard Jennings presents the basics of animation, infusing this amusing and engaging art form with his special brand of humor. Using drawing and/or collage, you create an individual flipbook and then film it to make your own animated DVD. No art or drawing skills are necessary for this fun and informative program.

- The class is limited to approximately 16 guests.
- The week begins with dinner on Sunday night and ends after breakfast on Friday.

Bio
Packard Jennings' art has been featured in many publications; recently his Anarchist Action Figure was written about on the front page of the New York Times. He has shown continuously and extensively throughout America and Europe over the past decade. Packard has a degree in animation from San Francisco State University. He has made many acclaimed animated films, including the recent "The End of Everything" and "Public Disclosure."
