More Sushi Please!

Location: The Cooking School (upstairs from Farley), Building 602

Time: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Sushi was originally invented as a means of preservation, during a time when fermented rice was used to store fish up to a year. Come and explore the different styles of sushi. Learn how to prepare perfect sushi rice and make all of your favorites.


Menu may include:

Traditional Miso Soup – Organic Tofu

Mixed Green Salad with Carrots and Ginger Dressing

Maki Rolls: California Roll – Spicy Tuna – Cucumber Avocado Uramaki

Nigiri: Ebi – Unagi – Tofu – Maguro – Tamagoyaki

Specialty Rolls: Shrimp Tempura with Crispy Shallots – Yellow Tail Hand Roll – Rainbow Roll

Green Tea Ice Cream with Miso Butter Cookies


Our public classes include a combination of hands-on work and demonstration.

Should you need to cancel your reservation, you may do so up to 72 hours prior to the event. Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance will not be refunded. Please note that if a minimum number of participants is not met 72 hours prior to the class, the class may be canceled and participants will be fully refunded. Minimum age for public classes is 15 years old, unless otherwise noted.
