Prepare the whole family for a soaring adventure at Cavallo Point for our perennial favorite, “Talons & Friends,” hosted in collaboration with WildCare, to celebrate the awe-inspiring world of birds of prey! Delight in a day packed with family-friendly activities that’ll have you feeling closer to nature than ever before. Meet the stars of the show, WildCare’s Wildlife Ambassadors, up close and personal. Dive into our mobile nature exhibit for hands-on fun, where kids can explore and enjoy nature-based activities. The afternoon concludes with Remarkable Raptors, a thrilling demonstration from Jenny Papka of Native Bird Connections featuring majestic hawks and owls, unraveling the mysteries of their hunting strategies and ecological importance.
As you soak in the excitement, savor the flavors of our vegetarian and vegan cookout, complete with grilled favorites and a special menu for the little ones, to be enjoyed alongside an array of craft beer from Headlands Brewery Co. and wines from Day Owl Wine. And let’s not forget the live tunes by Something Big, adding rhythm to the festivities. With raffle tickets and fabulous prizes up for grabs, “Talons & Friends” promises an unforgettable experience for all ages.

Talons & Friends is presented by Cavallo Point and WildCare. A portion of event proceeds go to support WildCare, a San Rafael-based nonprofit delivering world-class medical care through their open-admission wildlife hospital, as well as environmental education, community engagement, and advocacy for the protection of wildlife and our shared habitat.
At the Door: Adults $100; Kids $25
Tickets include one entrée, two sides, as well as valet or self-parking.
